Loneliness can trigger one to eat, but not always can someone who “eats their emotions” see it as a reason that they eat. We, usually say “ I’m bored, over I’m lonely” However, once you start implementing some of the ways Michelle talks about dealing with loneliness you can foster a healthier relationship with food and emotions by recognizing triggers, building support systems, practicing mindfulness, and developing healthier coping mechanisms.
